Though many who get his newsletter will return to Sioux City, O`Mara will not. He writes of recent developments in airplane safety and wrongful death lawsuits many are pursuing. O`Mara, an advertising salesman who grew up on Chicago`s North Side and now lives in Connecticut, fills his newsletter each month with letters from some of the 150 families on his mailing list. ![]() Many of the families Roy will meet Thursday have kept in touch through a newsletter started by Thomas O`Mara, who`s daughter Heather, 24, died in the crash. ![]() He worries when he drives, when his wife is gone or when he sees planes fly overhead. But the nightmares, Roy said, are only part of his anxieties. He said he still has nightmares about the crash and, in them, he watches the jumbo jet explode, often with him aboard. He hasn`t yet been able to bring himself to fly. Roy, however, intends to drive the eight hours to get there. ![]()
